| ----------------------------------- JEFF PROVINZINO CONSISTENT DURING 2009 FINALE! October 12, 2009 --- The Jeff Provinzino Racing team closed out their version of the 2009 racing season at the Proctor Speedway in Proctor, Minnesota over the October 9-10 weekend in the annual 'Proctoberfest.' Jeff Provinzino was very consistent throughout the doubleheader weekend. On Friday night, Jeff won his heat race prior to notching a third place performance in the $1,000 to win main event. On Saturday evening, Jeff once again won his heat race before logging another third place effort in the $2,500 to win A-Main. In other news, Jeff wound up third in WISSOTA National Points in 2009! ----------------------------------- RUNNER-UP FOR PROVINZINO IN INDIAN SUMMER CLASSIC October 5, 2009 --- Jeff Provinzino and his #28 Dirt Late Model team trekked to the Langlade County Speedway in Antigo, Wisconsin over the October 2-3 weekend for the annual running of the 'Indian Summer Classic.' Following a third place run in heat race action, Jeff started from the outside of the second row in the $3,500 to win main event. After the dust had settled in Antigo, Jeff walked away with a strong runner-up performance in the 'Indian Summer Classic!' ----------------------------------- PROVINZINO CAPTURES THUNDER IN THE PINES! September 28, 2009 --- The Jeff Provinzino Racing team racked up their seventh feature win of the 2009 racing season on Saturday night, September 26 by winning the 'Thunder in the Pines' at the Grand Rapids (MN) Speedway! After winning his heat race and running fourth in the dash, Jeff Provinzino rolled off from the outside of the second row in the A-Main. After the dust had settled at Grand Rapids, Jeff was celebrating the $3,550 victory over Kevin Carlson, Todd Gehl, Kyle Peterlin, and Don Copp. ----------------------------------- JEFF PROVINZINO NETS TOP FIVE IN WISSOTA 100 September 21, 2009 --- Jeff Provinzino and his #28 Dirt Late Model team invaded the Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, South Dakota last weekend (September 16-19) for the annual running of the WISSOTA 100. This year's version of the WISSOTA spectacular paid $6,000 to the winner. Jeff had a strong run at Huron and finished fifth in the final rundown behind winner A.J. Diemel, Jeff Wildung, Marshall Fegers, and Lance Matthees. |
